The Block's Crocs Summer League is an opportunity for students from age 5-18 to participate in competitive swimming. Participants will join a swim team which trains for 5 competitions through the months of June and July. This course is designed for students who are new or advanced to freestyle and backstroke and would like to improve upon their current skills. There will be two different timeslots that will accommodate to beginner and intermediate swimmers. The four racing strokes will be taught and developed throughout the season so that athletes can continue to improve and get faster. Athletes must tryout on May 6th and demonstrate the ability to swim 25 meters unassisted. Tryouts are from 12:00pm-2:00pm on May 6th. Dual Meets are 6/5, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27 and the Championship Meet is 7/8. For more information regarding the Summer league please call the George Block Aquatic Center at 210-397-7500.
