Stress shows itself in muscle tension, headaches, high blood pressure, anxiety and other unhealthy states of being. Meditation is a proven way to learn relax and let go of that stress. We will begin class with a few minutes of gentle stretching followed by a guided meditation (lying down). Afterwards we will talk briefly about the meditation experience while sharing a cup of herbal tea. Bring your yoga mat and any pillows, bolsters, or light covers to make yourself comfortable.
